Print and fill out the student application form below; send the form with a Deposit of $200 payable to Begin With Basics Driving Academy. The balance of $200 will be due at the student’s 2nd class session. If the full amount is paid pryor to the first session the cost is $375.00, a savings of $25.00.

Once the application is received, the Student will be notified of the date and time of the Parent Meeting. At the Parent Meeting questions will be answered. In addition, a contract and a handbook worksheet will be provided, which must be completed by the first classroom session.
Students will NOT be allowed to drive until they have completed the Kansas Drivers License Handbook test, which will be given at the first class session.
Your student driver will be driving a mid-sized dual brake control vehicle. All vehicles used by Begin With Basics Driving Academy will be late model with air bags and anti-lock brakes.
For your convenience, students will be picked up and dropped off at their home on days they are scheduled to drive.
Students may be required to ride as an observer for approximately 15-30 minutes while an instructor finishes with another student’s instruction. This allows the instructor greater efficiency between students and gives your driver and opportunity to observe other drivers and situations they encounter.
Begin With Basics Driving Academy is licensed by the State of Kansas, and must abide by the rules and regulations they set forth.
If you live outside of Johnson County and we will need to pick you up at your residence a additional $40.00 fee will need to be collected. If more then one student is attending from the same area and driving times can be arranged no additional fees will be required.
Your instructor will be licensed by the State and will have had a criminal background check.
